The thing I love most about this industry (aside from helping clients have breakthroughs) is how many different ways there are to deliver coaching. Business models and strategies can vary greatly, and finding the right one for you is one of the most important steps you'll make.
I work with 3 types of clients:
1. Skeptical - We’ll have an extended conversation about your passions and your skill set. You’ll learn what a day in the life of a coach is really like vs. what you’re being sold by a coaching school. You’ll learn what it takes to build a successful practice with several case studies. We’re going to nail down whether this career path is the thing for you.
2. Setting up - You know that coaching is the thing for you, and you just want to coach more people, but you don’t know how to get more clients. You may have already set up a website or have a blog, but the in-flow just isn’t happening. This engagement with yours truly as your mentor involves getting the right practice systems in place, learning what’s important about marketing and getting found, a comprehensive analysis of possible marketing activities – and which ones work best for you. You’ll finally feel like your efforts are getting traction and you’ll have a clear direction about what’s next in growing your practice.
3. Unsure - A person who has been coached for awhile, but aren't seeing the desired results. Once a conversation has occurred, we will determine if Transformative Steps is a good fit to help you take things to the next level. This is not about getting rich quick, it’s about transforming lives one steps at a time.
There’s a huge difference in how you experience life when you’re truly on your path versus going through the motions. Oftentimes we lie to ourselves in so many ways to justify our place in life, we justify our job or even our suffering. We also make excuses as to why we aren’t moving toward the things that really matter.
For some of us, it’s fear, for others it’s a fixed mindset. Whatever the reason, when you get tired, it's time to take steps to transform. This is why I coach. This is what I live to do. I am an encourager who loves to help people achieve their goals. I wake up every day excited for what’s next?
