Walk it OUT!!!

Stop accepting someone else's reality as yours.

Stop waiting on the next thing. Stop hoping and wishing something good will happen. Stop waiting for someone else to do it. Stop blaming people for where you are. Stop beating up on yourself.  Stop accepting someone else's reality as yours. Stop telling yourself that you can't do it. What are you waiting on? Instead let's walk it out.

In life there are lots of "good reasons" why we are where are.  Today, that doesn't matter.  We can be some of the biggest procrastinators on the planet.  We know that we should be doing something but instead, we will grab our phone and play a game or call someone or watch a video, instead of working toward our goal and improving our life. Today is our day of accountability. Today is our day of declaration. Today is our day to eliminate excuses. Today is the day we start. We have passed Jan 1, and the lies told that we called New Year's resolutions. Let's look at ourselves in the mirror and from this moment on we will tell the truth, regardless of the outcome. We want to be better and that must start from the inside out and not the other way around.

Sometimes we need to encourage ourselves as there might not be anyone around to assist us.  Sometimes we need to quiet the scared voice in our head that prevents us from starting. Let's Walk it out. Before we get started, let me ask a simple question. What’s the worst thing that can happen? You are in whatever situation you are in. As my father used to say, "You got a bunch of ain't got's!" Let’s do something today that puts us closer to our hopes/dreams/desires.  Let’s take a step towards something better.  Let’s walk it out.

Here are some simple things that you can add to your daily routine that will help you get to your destination.  Step 1) when you awake and put your feet on the ground, take a deep breath and thank God that you are alive.  Step 2) go into the bathroom and look at yourself, smile and say, “I Love you.” Step 3) as you go to work or about your day, think about 1 thing that you can do today to move you one step closer to your goal.  Step 4) Today, do that thing that you just thought about. Step 5) Acknowledge the fact that you should/could have started earlier but smile also about the fact that you started. Step 6) give yourself a big hug. Pray and thank God for giving you the strength and courage to take a step. Step 7) Get a good night’s rest, Let’s take another step tomorrow.
